Nik Clinton is a Colorado native, who has played lacrosse since he was 10 years old. He has loved the game from the moment he stepped onto the field during his first season playing in a summer recreation program. Nik grew up playing for the Fort Collins Vipers and developed a true passion for the game. He moved on to play for DU Elite, Wild, BOCO, NOCO and Altitude Stickness tournament teams in High School. He was a 4-year starter for the Thompson Valley Eagles and was recruited by Adams State University to play Division II Lacrosse.

Nik is thrilled to be finishing his degree in Sports Administration at St Bonaventure University in upstate New York and to be part of the starting squad on the new Division I program.

Nik loves to coach lacrosse, mentor players and enhance their skill set. There is nothing he loves more than being a part of a team. Nik has coached youth and high school lacrosse for the past 3 years (from 2014 – 2018) and strives to add value to each player.

Nik's Coaching Philosophy:

  1. My overall mission as a coach is to develop athletes into elite and well- respected people through the game.
  2. Promote confidence within self and team.
  3. Apply skills, knowledge, and work ethic to life not just sports.
  4. Be honest and accountable for actions and know that one’s self is not larger than the team.
